I would like to thank you for your custom over the years, but in this uncertain time we do not know what is in store for us all and I would like to stand by your loyalty and assure you that I will be there for you in your hour of need, in an emergency.
An emergency means a gas or oil leak, or large water leaks, customers without hot water or heating and of course for the vulnerable. This does mean that annual boiler servicing, dripping taps, small leaks that can be kept under control and customers which have other forms of heating and water heating will not be attended to at present.
However, the government at this time feels it is important, and insist on having Landlord Safety Checks (LSC) on gas appliances within rented properties carried out on time, unless the tenant will not give us permission to enter due to self-isolation. If so, they must give you written evidence stating that no access is available, which you must keep for as long as it is necessary. I must remind you it is your responsibility and the law to keep your LSC in date. I am still able to help you with this but it will just be the LSC to reduce the time in the property, and your tenant must not be in the same room and if possible out of the house at the time of inspection. Paperwork will not be left or asked to be signed, we will email you the copy of the top sheet so please provide an email address when booking.
All the above will only be carried out for existing customers at this time.
Boiler servicing can be deferred for 6 months as all warranties with the manufacturers will still apply and will not be affected. Please phone or email to rebook for a later date at your convenience in the coming months.
